Dutch Technology at the International Greenhouse Industry Fair 2013
As of February 18, the third International Greenhouse Industry Fair attended by the representatives of 12 countries. However, the most outstanding cooperation program has been developed with the country, which is fairly considered the most competent in the area of greenhouse technologies, the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Besides the official support received by the Industry Fair from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine represented by the Counsellor for Agriculture Evert Jan Kraenbrink, the Embassy is actively involved in carrying out the thematic event of the Industry Fair. This time, two events for the greenhouse business professionals is waiting for the visitors of the Greenhouse Industry Fair:

Dutch-Ukrainian Forum devoted to the greenhouse industry, which will be held on February 27 from 11:00 to 14:30 in the conference room number 5. This time, the main forum topics are financial instruments that can be used by farmers when constructing and modernizing their greenhouses and introduction of innovative technologies. The Forum will consist of two sessions, and one of the most interesting reports is going to be the presentation of a new generation of semi-closed greenhouses. The Forum is organized by the Association Ukrainian Agribusiness Club / AgriEvent, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine and Exhibition Company S-TEAM with the support of the Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry of Ukraine, the Association Greenhouses of Ukraine and the Economic Affairs Ministry of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

- The Dutch Greenhouse Mission in Ukraine. Within the business mission framework, immediately after the Dutch-Ukrainian Forum, a seminar on Advanced Dutch Technologies for the Greenhouse Industry will take place. During this seminar, the mission participants will present their solutions (detailed program is in the attached file). Also, Ukrainian companies will have an opportunity to hold talks with the members of the business mission at the collective stand of the Dutch companies (Stand №J523). This business mission was organized by the companies Next Step Ukraine and NUSEKO with the support of the Council for Trade of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Association Greenhouses of Ukraine. In total, 16 Dutch companies will participate in the Greenhouse Industry Fair and some of them will come to Ukraine for the first time:

DALSEM (stand №К522) – greenhouse complex projects: construction, heating / cogeneration, cooling, irrigation, screening, electrical systems and climate control.
Enza Zaden (stand №J621) – sale and distribution of vegetable seeds
Gavita (stand №К421) – lighting systems for greenhouses.
KGP Greenhouses (stand №К121) – greenhouse construction and installation of all necessary systems: heating, screening, lighting, drip irrigation, misting, climate control, sorting and packaging equipment, internal transportation systems.
Revaho (stand №К341) – technological equipment for greenhouses.
Rijk Zwaan (stand №К241) – breeding and seed production of vegetable crops.
PHILIPS (stand №J343) – lamp production, starting and controlling equipment, LED-lighting solutions for greenhouses and climate chambers.
Van der Hoeven (stand №J361) – turnkey construction of greenhouse complexes

Greenhouse Industry Fair has gathered even more foreign participants than last year!
We are pleased to inform you that the third Greenhouse Industry Fair has gathered even more foreign participants than last year. Besides Ukrainian producers and distributors, the Greenhouse Industry Fair will host companies from Belarus, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Lithuania and France. The Organizing Committee is expecting about 100 companies to take part in this industry fair. The Greenhouse Industry Fair for the second time will confirm its status of an international event since 20% of the exhibits will be presented by foreign participants. It is also expected that this year not only Ukrainian greenhouse specialists will come to the industry fair, but also foreign experts will join the event. Starting from December, 2012, the Organizing Committee of the Greenhouse Industry Fair regularly receives requests for visiting from Russia, Romania, Poland and Turkey. Therefore, in January, 2013, the call center operators of the Greenhouse Industry Fair began to make calls not only around Ukraine, but also invited foreign greenhouse experts to visit the event. Last week the call center operators finished ringing around the greenhouse industry representatives from the countries far abroad, and this week they speak to the management of the Russian leading greenhouse companies, inviting them to visit the industry fair and take part in the business program. This year, the Organizing Committee is expecting the industry fair to host about 6,500 visitors.

70 companies have confirmed their participation in the exhibition!
We hasten to share with you the wonderful news! Prior to the beginning of the ΙΙΙ International Greenhouse Industry Fair remains almost a month, and 70 companies have already confirmed their participation in the exhibition! This, of course, indicates that the Greenhouse Industry Fair carries its function of learning a new way, the introduction of modern technologies, attracting more and more new players in the greenhouse business in Ukraine.
Traditionally ΙΙΙ International Greenhouse Industry Fair have gained the support of the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Ukraine. The essence of the support is not only to inform the Dutch experts on the upcoming exhibition, but also in the organizing Dutch-Ukrainian Forum "Greenhouse production in Ukraine while exhibition. Financial instruments and the introduction of innovative technologies "with the participation of both Ukrainian and Dutch speakers. The first session of the forum will be focused on the issues related to the financing. The second session - "Greenhouse technology and efficiency. In the letter dated by January 15 addressed to Directorate of the Fair Agricultural Counselor of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine Mr. Evert Jan Krajenbrink confirmed his support to S-TEAM Exhibition Company and Greenhouse Industry Fair. In particular Mr. Krajenbrink mentioned that he is glad to see how close cooperation and partnership has been growing over the years between Dutch and Ukrainian companies in the greenhouse sector. Also he expressed confidence that Greenhouse Industry Fair will become a solid platform where greenhouse producers, suppliers and representatives of leading knowledge centers can meet each other and develop their business cooperation. Dutch-Ukrainian forum
On February 27 from 11.00 to 14.00 will be held the Dutch-Ukrainian forum in the seminar hall № 1 of the ΙΙΙ International Greenhouse Industry Fair with participation both Ukrainian and Dutch speakers.
The actual forum topics:
• Effective management of the greenhouse complex;
• Reduce operating costs;
• Search of financing / participation in projects of international financial organizations
• The Dutch innovation.
